ध्वनी प्रदूषण तुम्ही काय करू शकता... दिवसभर थकून आल्यावर तुम्हाला गाढ झोप लागते. पण, अचानक शेजाऱ्‍यांच्या कुत्र्यांच्या भुंकण्याने तुमची झोपमोड होते. तुम्ही कूस बदलता आणि केकाटणे आताच थांबेल, मगच थांबेल अशी वाट पाहत राहता. पण भुंकणे काही केल्या थांबत नाही. कुत्र्यांचे केकाटणे चालूच राहते. तुमचे डोके उठते, झोपमोड झाल्यामुळे चिडचिड होते आणि सगळी झोप उडून गेलेली असते; असला हा त्रास तुमच्या शेजाऱ्‍यांना सहन तरी कसा होतो असा तुम्ही विचार करता. प्रत्येकाची आवाज सहन करण्याची क्षमता वेगवेगळी असते. धावपट्टीच्या जवळपास राहणाऱ्‍या विमानतळाच्या कामगारांना विमानाच्या आवाजाचा तितका त्रास होत नाही जितका विमानांशी काहीच संबंध नसलेल्या ठिकाणी काम करणाऱ्‍यांना होतो. एखाद्या गृहिणीला इलेक्ट्रिक फूड प्रोसेस्सरचा आवाज, दुसऱ्‍या खोलीत पुस्तक वाचत किंवा टीव्ही पाहत बसलेल्या व्यक्‍तीपेक्षा निश्‍चितच अधिक सहन करता येतो. ध्वनी प्रदूषण म्हणजे काय? वेगवेगळी राष्ट्रे ध्वनी प्रदूषणाची व्याख्या निरनिराळ्या पद्धतीने देतात. मेक्सिकोत, “इतरांना त्रासदायक किंवा अपायकारक असलेला कोणताही नकोसा असणारा आवाज” म्हणजे गोंग...

मी कचरा/सफाई कामगार बोलतोय - राम राम मंडळी. मी रामू, तुमच्या कोलनीतला सफाई कामगार. तुम्हाला आच्छर्य झाले असेल की मला काय बोलायचे आहे तुमच्याशी. तुमच्या सर्व परिसरातील कचरा आम्ही साफ करतो. आमच्यामुळे सगळीकडे स्वच्छता असते. तुम्ही आजारांपासून दूर राहतात तेही सफाई कर्मचाऱ्यामुळे. परंतु समाजात आम्हाला निचस्तरीय वागणूक मिळते. वेतनही इतर वर्ग-२ कर्मचार्यांपेक्षा कमी. आमच्या हक्काचा सन्मानही कोणी आम्हाला देत नाही. कचरा कामगारांची किंमतही कचऱ्याएव्हढीच असेही काहीजण म्हणतात.  आम्हाला फक्त स्वतःच्या हक्काचे वेतन आणि सन्मान मिळावा ही साधी अपेक्षा आहे समाजाकडून, परंतु तीही पूर्ण होत नाही. कृपया सगळ्यानी याचा विचार करावा हीच मागणी. धन्यवाद

वाचकहो, आज आपण जाणुन घेऊ या म्हसोबा महाराजांनी ची कथा . म्हसोबा म्हणल्यावर आपल्याला आठवतो तो शेतं आणि शेताच्या कडेला एक मंदिर असते ते असते म्हसोबा महाराजांचे. हे फार पूर्वीपासून चालत आलेले आहे,म्हसोबा म्हणजे त्याकाळी शेतकऱ्याकडे बैल असायचे. आणि त्या बैलावरच शेतीची मशागत अवलंबून असायची.त्या बैलांवर मालकाचे नितांत प्रेम असायचे असे बैल जेव्हा मयत व्हायचे त्यावेळेस मालक त्या बैलाला आपल्या शेताच्या कोपऱ्यात पुरून टाकायचे आणि त्याठिकाणी कोणी जाऊ नये म्हणून त्यावर मंदिर बांधुन त्यावर मूर्ती बसवायचे अशी आख्यायिका आहे. कालांतराने शेती च्या जागा कमी पडू लागली त्यामुळे शेतकरी वाड्यामिळून/वस्त्यामिळून /गावमिळून एकाच ठिकाणी बैलांना पुरत असे. आणि त्याठिकाणी दररोज पुजा केली जात असे आजही आपण त्याठिकाणी जाऊन पुजा करतो. बऱ्याच गावांमध्ये तर त्यांच्या नावाने जत्रा सुद्धा होतात आणि या जत्रा मध्ये 12 गाड्या ओढणे,टांगा शर्यत,कुस्ती असे खेळ खेळले जात असे. थकलया घरी बसून पायाला सूज आलिया माझा बाप रानात मोकळी पायपीट करतया... उभ्या जगाचा पोशिंदा उभा रानी दिस रात आला आला ग बसाया त्याला द्यावा कोणी पाट.... किलबिल पाखरांची सून सून असे शिवार पीक घरात पडलं देवा तुझे रे आभार.... आज तो उभा सारे बसून दारात समधे अडकले कोपऱ्यात मी एकराच्या वावरात.... ©काव्या.......
